WOW... The Maxxes are all comin off the shelves lately... lol
Looks great man... I need to get mine back in order soon...

Damn. After I read your first sentence I was expecting to see pictures of a Savage.....

J/K. Looking good...

It's nice to see people are no longer afraid to stand up and say, I am a Maxx owner! LOL. I am a Maxx owner too, as is my 7 year old. Nice looking rig Smaxxin.

I am with you here NC.... I too have a few Traxxas trucks on my shop, and a third on on the way. My father is getting rid of his Stampede and I told him I would take it off of his hands for my stepson to use someday. It is nice to know that for some Traxxas is not a four letter word. Looking real good Smaxxin real good.

I got a purrdy shelfqueen maxx,if it held together more it would come off the shelf more.Great now this thread makes me wanna fix mine?

Man, Looks good there SMaxxin! I am going to have to blow the dust off of mine. I was setting up the new spectrum m11 with it, but the 625 throttle servo was having issues with the reciever, so it is still on hold until I get a 645. Been working on moving into another room, and still haven't set up my work area yet.

Thanks for the complements! I know I can't beat on this one like I did to my Savages but it will never sit on a shelf, it is a basher.

Looks good man. I've been running my Maxx a lot lately as well. So how are you gonna paint it? I just got a new F-150 body for mine. I'm gonna give it the "royal" treatment! :)

I don't know... I think you will be surprised just how much you can beat on it. You have put some work into making it stronger and the 3.3 does not seem to have as many weak points has its predesessors.

Tom

The 3.3 is better than the older versions, the thicker chassis and beefy drive train is nice but I'm still not as confident as I was with the Savage...Multiple jump of 10+ feet and landing on everything but the wheels and it just kept going....It was impressive.

The Maxx is still my favorite nitro!

That looks to be a Dodge body? I was gonna suggest doing a 24 themed paint job if you're up to the challenge. My 26 themed F-150 is gonna be sweet.. I hope...

I have used his decals before and his decals are top quality! Excellent customer service too. Unlike another decal company I have dealt with that gave me very poor quality, sloppy, rushed looking decals that are almost unusable. I would buy his decals again in a minute.

I would never own a Dodge body, it's a 2007 Chevy body. I haven't decided if I'm going to paint it, I'm liking the idea of leaving it clear. When I ordered the body I was looking at a 24 scheme from eBay but it's not worth $24.00 plus paint to me.

my bad.. kinda hard to tell from the top view. Maybe try a 24 "theme", not really a replica but more of a collage of ideas consisting of 24 colors, logos, etc. I'm going to incorporate a lot of autism awaremess in mine.

Wow that guy is good. Those are some of the best I have seen out there. I may be picking up a few sets from him. I have a couple of bodies to paint and those would work perefectly!

Tom

Hey Tom, that's the guy who did my Wrangler decals. Nice even consistant lines all the way around the two colors on the numbers and logos, everything on this car are his decals except the contingency stickers...

That is what I am talking about! I would have to get offset wheels to get the Monte Carlo to fit the 190mm car... but I could pull it off. Man, now I am all excited! LOL

Tom

I want to eventually try and do all Dales Winston all star paint schemes. Bass Pro Shop, Wheaties, Peter Maxx (this one will be a real challenge!), and of course the one that started it all the silver Goodwrench car.
