Hey everyone, I purchased a used duratrax maximum a little while ago and the motor is seized (some idiot left it out in the rain i guess) the car was cheap though. I was wondering if anyone knows of a motor that is a good direct replacement for the truck, a bit bigger would be better. It was the Torq .16 in it right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I'm not sure of the "exact" engine you'd need, but the OS 18 CV-RX is a good solid engine with plenty of power.

I found a duratrax torq 16 on tower and it appears to be a standard shaft, rotary carb, side exhaust engine. Which would be this OS 18 CV-RX
 
Well I have been shopping around for different engines, and have come to the conclusion that I am thinking of buying an AE GT2, been reading up on a few reviews of the truck and it sounds like a really great platform. I would love to get into the 1/8th scale, but the cost is tremendous.
