i've been reading and some people said that the didnt lock to proline tires.. it that true? anyone have any good luck with these rims? or should i just stick with regular rims? i just think that it would be cool to switch tires with out the ungluing process.. thanks for any help!
 
I think you need a special ring to use certain tires. You can get these rings from maximizer.
 
yeah you need to get the special rage rings that lock onto thinner beaded tires like proline.

Yes, you do need the Rage Rings. They are like an extra $12... You need them for the Proline and Imex tires, because they have a shorter bead area... I'll let ya know how mine work out...
 
i ordered mine too i found the cheapest place to be for 65$ shipped for a full set plus rage rings.

Hmmm I got the maximizer beadlocks and put mulchers on em and they are tight! No movement at all. Follow the directions to the T as I didn't initially and they spun.
 
I got my order with the beadlocks in it... Totally awesome!!! I just started putting them on... The swamp dawgs look so sick on em!!!

where?? I'm thinking about buying.... these are for regular tires right? not the 40 series?

Got 2 tires on the rims... These are going on my maxx with the Sirio .27... I will take pics when my new body gets here from Imbroken!
 
I got my beadlocks and rage rings from HobbyguyRC on ebay.. i think it was about $60 or so...
 
yeah same here hobbieguyrc.com or off of ebay. make sure to get the rage rings though if you want to run imex or proline!yeah i want to see ur maxx rc10!!!which ones did you get?

I got the 3/4" offset spoked ones with some rage rings and put my Imex swamp dawgs on em... They look abosultely sick!!!
 
Alright, i got all the tires on... The only bad part about them is the 8 screws in each rim really wears out your wrist... They dont "slide" together as easily as it sounds in the directions, but i got them all together with no probs!
