Ok so now that my rig is back together beaides the rpm a arms I have on order what would be a good all around suspension?

Yeah I need to do that as well and I wanna go through my diffs too. But was wondering what's the hype on the e-max diffs?

And shocks. Are the traxxis big bore shocks that much better?

Big bore is better but if you have the $$ to spend on them the best tmaxx shocks on the market are the Unlimited Engineering super shocks. I run a 4 shock setup on my tmaxx and it handles better than it ever did with 8 stockers. They come with different spring rates. Heaviest being black next being blue then red. I'm running 50wt oil in all 4 and blue springs on rear and red on front. The hype with emaxx diffs is they are a much better built diff to handle brushless torque. They have support braces between spider gears and also metal sleeves on outside of spider shaft bracing the spider gears from shearing the 4 ring gear bolts off the inner housing. They are an excellent upgrade from standard 3.3 diffs. Especially if you are running a high torque engine like the picco .26 that just loves to break driveline parts.

Yea they go straight in no problem but they are better than the nitro diffs bc they have to stand up to brushless power. I'm for nitro all the way but brushless is deff more powerful and faster hands down running the right set up

Well that's good to know. Deff gonna do that here pretty quick. Any way to tell if it's already been done? And good to know as well bc I'm picking up my son a brushless slash 2wd tomorrow. Has a few other upgrades, I know it's not the stock motor. Has a 2cell lipo. But doesn't come with a charger.

You can tell a difference in diffs but you gotta take em apart to see it. The emaxx brushless diffs will have more parts in the spider housing. Main one being a brace supporting the spider shaft and gears. Then also on the outside of spider gears with brace you have a thin metal sleeve that braces the shaft inside the spider gear housing that the ring gear bolts to. The standard diffs do t have anything inside spider housing but 4 spider gears crossed and a shaft. No brace or supports. I will try to find a link to the exploded views so you can see what I'm talking about.

I can't find exploded views but here is some pics of the parts inside a 2.5 standard diff.

And here is the parts for an Emaxx brushless diff.

Plus the brushless diff spider housing is stronger and has the two metal guides that help it to hold up to the higher torque of brushless. Also yes the brushless diffs will bolt right in place of the standard 3.3 diffs with no modifications needed. I have a set in my tmaxx with a set of hot racing aluminum spider housings and bad horsie diff locking lube in both front and rear. They arw holding up excellent to the picco .26 torque that has destroyed everything else I've tried. Great upgrade to the driveline for sure.
