Hello again

I am in the process of re tuning my rc
Its running well but I'm confused as to how you know when you rech maximum rpm

For instance
There is a big car park at work and I find myself easing off the throttle half way down it
Because I'm worried its going to blow up. But how do you tell if it is on the limit.or if it has lots left in it ?

Many thanks again

Hi will this mean the engine won't over rev and not go pop ?
Or will it if I full throttle for.long enough ?

Thanks

When you read the specs on a engine and it states that max rpm is 36000. This means that this engine as is has an rpm range of 36000. It does not mean if you go over it then the engine will pop. What will happen with more rpm is simply more power and a faster engine than the specs stated. These engines are not built to pamper and putter around so dont worry about it. Matter of fact your liable to do more bad than good by NOT running the engine hard. Follow the link ERCM posted above and i assure you this link is the absolute best way to go about tuning any nitro engine. Since i followed it and remembered the method i use it religiously. And if you ever want to have a good engine modded and get the most out of it talk to robin at ERCM. They are the best from what everyone here says and from what I've seen that they have done.
