MAX 5 800kv or 1100kv to 1/5 Kraton EXB ?

What is the pros and cons with 800kv vs 1100kv Max5 combo 56 size to my Kraton EXB 1/5 8s Large Scale roller ?

What KV will be better for bashing and driving fast on grass ?
What pinion size ?

I prefer fast car, also temps must be OK

the 1100..not going to the super fast but will be a decent grass eater.. not sure what to recommend as pinion teeth count.

Thats a tough question. Either one would make the kra8. Even more of a beast. The 800 is purely a tourqe machine.. 1100kv would be more speed. But it will all come down to your gearing when it come to the heat. And fans for sure.. but watch the HW max line there's been issues with them lately. Just cutting out mid runs. In air after a jump. Not sure if it's a soldering issue or programming. But it's something to watch for.

Maybe the 800kv is better in grass ? You need tourge in grass right?

Sand and asphalt maybe 1100kv is better ?

for motor Cooling i will use dual 40mm highspeed highvoltage Aftermarket Fans

skyrc 56 dual 40mm

Stock fans are junk, i will change them to these higspeed high voltage 40mm

got thar skyrc dualfan for only 10bucks LOL.

will order highspeed fans now 40mm 2pc,


Should i go 800kv ? i will drive it 80% grass, sometimes gravelpit
For speedruns i have Limitless with 8s already,

I'm happy alday long if i will hit 50mph with this massive big car.
The weight scares me run faster actually

I will use 8mm bullet connectors, that is what i run in my Limitless and i love it
I have 6200mah CHNL 90C 8mm 4s lipos
i will also buy the 9500mah of these.

What 8mm M1 pinion size most use in their 800kv.s ?

And finally what high speed fans people use to their Max 5 esc,s ?
