Ok I am a video game junky. New addictive must own title for the Gamecube came out Monday. After 2 days of playing this game I just can't put it down. My GF loves it too so its fun for all. It has 2 modes of swing one for beginers, and one for experts. You can play side by side good and not so good and still have a great time. Some courses are real world type PGA courses and some courses take place in Mario land (lots of fun). This game diffenitley carries the Mario franchise and does it complete justice. The look, feel, and sound are all Mario. The games supports Dolby surround and has great crisp clear music. The graphics show off the Gamecube's power and look smooth. The courses are spectacular. If you liked hot shots golf or love Mario games this game is a must own.

one word ADDICTIVE.

I loved Mario Golf for the 64 and this one sounds even better. I think I might have to stop by Best Buy. :) Wait a second....I think I still have a gift card left. *happy dance*

I can't wait for the new Mario Kart. I loved the version for the Super Nintendo and the N64 version.

Right now I am working on finishing Windwaker. I have a long, long ways to go in Super Mario Sunshine. I also just started playing Super Metroid Prime.

Hi my name is JR, and I am a console addict. :)

4 sure I am getting the new Mario cart, and I have aslo pre-paid for the new F-Zero.

mcvickj. I too am about 3/4 through WindWaker (love that game) I have Metroid but have yet to play more than the first level. I also have the Xbox, but that's a whole different addiction as I play online whenever I can since I have Xbox live. Guess what my name is on that (humboldtblazer).

I remember a Mario Golf for Super NES, I think. It was a pretty easy golf game they had back in the day. I think it was impossible (just due to the parameters of the game) to hook or slice but you could hit too high or low on the ball and effect the distance the ball traveled.

There was only Mario golf (made by Camelot) on the N64, and the same people make this one. The new Mario Golf has more in depth controls than the new Tiger Woods I played.

I beg to differ. I actually owned the game and it was stolen from me in mid 1995. At that point in time the N64 was not out. It could have been for old Nintendo but I'm almost positive it was for Super NES, either that or doubtfully for Sega Genesis or Sega CD.

There was a game called "Golf" on the NES but there was not a golf game on the SNES. I wouldnt lie to you. I am a video game nerd that has played throught the days of pong, pix axe pete, q-bert,kings quest, commander keen, to Mario to present day. I am well veresed in what titles came out for what systems.

As was I back then. There was a game where you could either be Mario or Luigi in a game of Golf. I think I remember the golf game you were talking about but this was was nothing less than Mario golfing. I just finished an exhausting search on google for the game but since Nintendo quit making out SNES games and the fact that there is a new Mario Golf out there it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Go to www.nintendo.com and search for golf. It will bring up every golf game made for any of there systems. I will not try to convince you but the first EVER Mario golf game that featured Mario was on the N64 made by Camelot.

Where you maybe thinking of this game? Kirby's Dream Course was originally released in February, 1995 for SNES.
