Manifold question

I replaced my stock exhaust manifold with a hop-up manifold. I had to tune the carb a little but now the buggy seems to have less top end and does not accelerate as quickly. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this?

that new manifold should help. maybe you are not tuned right.

if you would have said you lost top OR bottom, i could have been the manifold. since it is longer, it would change the timing of the exhaust echo. but since you lost both. i would bank on tuning.

do you get good smoke? what are your temps?

Getting good smoke but it does seem to be alittle hotter than normal.

It was the tuning. I definitely have better acceleration seems to be a lot more peppy.
