Ok i broke down and picked up a mamba max 1/10 9000kv motor and esc for my T4 want battery should i run for best power and any idea what pinion i should use I'm new to brushless lol

Are you using this for racing or bashing? If you're racing, the sanctioning body has rules on battery types allowed. if you're bashing, check with Castle Creations to see the maximum voltage the ESC/Motor combo is rated at. 3.7 is 1s. 7.4 is 2s and 11.1 is 3s. Always try and get the largest capacity in mAH that you can afford. The more capacity the longer the run time.

2S with a much smaller pinion is probably your only option. I don't believe that 9000kv motor will last long on a stadium truck if you are bashing. Thats something i wuld run in a very lightweight car and even then it would be for speed runs.
