Man that's a steal!! I think I will be ordering mine really soon, but I wanted to wait on the motors to be ready and order them together. I was thinking that they might be more than the Novak system since it's new technology, but it looks like it will be about the same and maybe a lil less for the complete system.

Rob, do you have any idea when the motors should be released?

If you use the release time for the ESC as a guideline, it will probably be another year for the motors.

They were touting the ESC well before last years RCX!

Since they are releasing the ESC by itself first, I bet 6-9 months is realistic.

I hope I am wrong.

It looks pretty cool, but I already and have had my Novak HV Brushless system for several years now, to bad it didn't come out way back when Novak released theres I probly would have got the mamba system insted...

I've got one of the new Novak HV Pro on the way for my Revo, and I still have and E-Maxx that going to need a monster system, and I'm about to get an 1/8 scale buggy, so I'm wanting to run Novak in one and Mamba in the other and do some testing and report the results.

I'd like to read that report. Is the Mamba to be sensorless? Is the Novak sensored? It's too bad if they are different in that aspect cuz it would have been cool to test them both in the same type of vehicle with the same motor.

Yeap I thought about the same thing, so I'm going to do some research and try to get a neu motor that is most closely matched with the Novak HV Pro motor that I've got. I'm getting excited. These Novak systems are back ordered everywhere and I paid for mine a week ago, knowing that it would supposed to be a few weeks before delivery, and that it could be later in June before I got it. Novak has switched from the HV Max to the HV Pro, which comes with a 5mm shaft and some other upgrades. Anyway, Joe at East End Machining made a bunch of phone calls and finally talked to a distributor that said he might be able to sell on in a few weeks. Well I got an email yesterday from Joe, and the system is already on its way here :)

Yeap, I have the Tekno RC conversion kit here waiting, and I'm still ordering chassis and suspension parts for it. I'm going to start a project page in a lil while.
