Making rivets

I have a big heli scale project coming up, and I need to know if any of you have a preferred method of making RAISED rivets.
I already know it will take me many days to complete so I'm just wondering if there are any tried and true shortcuts.

It may be a bit hard to tell in the pic, but I made the rivets in the center section of the fuel cell using pins. I snipped the heads off, pushed the stub in to the plastic, and the clear coated over them all once they were all in.

Definitely a nice touch on yours, but that ain't gonna' happen on this guy...

I have a sheet in the mail right now. RAISED resin rivets on water slide decal paper. Costly but extremely time effective.

Someone on a heli forum suggested another method is to cut a comb and dip the tips of the teeth into thinned white glue. That's another great idea.

Sure, the pins are cheap, but after the first 2000 are in place I won't be able to do any more with that straight jacket on. :jittery::sick:

I don't think they'll let me have any sharp objects, either.
