Magic Wheel in RCCA

i was looking through the latest issue of RCCA (that is what its called right?) and the notorious Magic Wheel was in it. RCCA made it sound pretty good, saying it was cheap and was pretty comparable to trucks twice its price, and it was definatly the same company because it was excelhobbies.com and everything. do you guys still think its a scam?


oh, and i dont want one, i already have a new T-Maxx 2.5, i was just wondering if you had any second thoughts now that its in RCCA.

I don't think it's a scam. What I do think is that it is a cheap knock-off of the real thing. It is assembled in China; those guys are master counterfeiters and knock-off artists. They have been doing it for years.

Is it worth the money? It might be for spare parts, but I sure as hell am not going to waste my hard earned dough on it.

well...if its that cheap new...should be real cheap used on ebay...when they finally get there(which should'nt be long )I'm going to get one to totally trash...should'nt cost more than 130.00:cheerful:

Heres something else to think about. If the parts look identical but are made inferior to the traxxas parts, that people will part out a $200 knockoff as T-Maxx parts on e-bay and with it unassembled they could pass the parts off as Traxxas parts. Looking at these parts like diffs, tranny, etc on the internet can you tell if they are the cheap chinese crap or the real parts? Most likely not. You assume you are buying a traxxas diff but you get something made even crappier then they already are, lol. Oh well I guess its buyer beware!

I really want to hear an honest review from one of our members after they get this thing. Even if you get burned. We won't abuse you, well...maybe X will, lol.

Ah the chinese just make cheap knock-offs unlike the Japanese than make Qaulity Knock-offs X
