Magic Self-Repairing Pull Start??

Hey all, I'm sure you've probably read but i finally got my buggy going after about a month due to waiting on parts. But i got it going (like CRAP) and after some driving, i turned it off. Came back out an hour later, yanked the pull start and ting! It didn't retract -.- So with about 3cm of 'pull' left i yanked it a few times in anger as i thought great, broken on the first day i fix it. Then, all of a sudden, it pulled itself right back in. Started it, and had a drive

Now my T/B servo doesn't work at all -.- ARGH! Stopped working after i used RC Addicts theory of swapping the connections into different ports...Not his fault. Least it was on the 2nd day.. But still..

Sounds more like a bad servo or RX to me, all moving servos to different channels will do is make them be cotroled by that part of your controler, such as moving t/b to steering now steering will control your t/b, it's just a way to see if the servo is bad or possibly the port on your RX is bad..... That's cool that you pull start fixed it self though, I would say don't pull on it so hard in the future.....
