In my xxx-nt rtr I have the stock engine and was wondering if anyone knows the proper operating temp for that engine. I feel I have it running good but I just want to make sure on the temp, the hottest I have had it so far is 183 deg. any help would be appreciated thank you in advance

Man that is toooo cold.. Thats barley hot enough to keep it from excessicly wearing parts. Try to get it up to atleast 215-220... Most engine manufactures will say that if you dont hit 200 plus the parts aren't expanding fully like they should.. The mach .15 I had ran in the 220-250 range... Most guys I know at the track that had one in a xxx-nt rtr ran in the 225-250 range...X

cool thanks I thought it was running a little cool because it wont run good if it idles for more than 30 sec thank you I'll have to mess with it tonight
