do you oil your outdrives and dog bones? i can't find anything online about it and don't want to ruin my outdrives by oiling them and making them dirt magnets

No boots, no oil, that's all there is to it.

Maybe some dry graphite, but I've never tried it.

No, do not oil your dogbone yolks, dirt and grime will build up and either pop them out or ruin them by slowly grinding the socket away untill it eventually fails.

thats exacty why i asked you guys before lubing them up, that would be an expensive mistake
