My lst keeps poping out of gear and ideas why this might happen? It's like when I go to forward or reverse it doesn't pop in all the way. It just poped out and started doing this..

Could be your linkage has slipped, servo is getting tired, EPA's on the radio need adjusted, trans internals are getting worn.

Honestly, I ran with 3 guys that had LST2's and they all ditched reverse and put in a FOC. Makes the trans far less complicated and ditches 1 servo as well.

If the servo is working ok make sure it's set so there's pressure on the shifting lever when it's in forward or reverse. The servo topper should be similar to a servo saver and should provide some tension to hold the trans in gear......without straining the servo.

I have an lst2 and one hell of a roll cage. I don't break much but have had extra arms on my garage floor for over 3 years. I think the roll cage is intergy no instructions, no pictures

I have alot of problems with the tranny going to neutral in between 1st and 2nd!

That is more than likely your two speed OWB going bad on you. If you don't take them out, clean and relube them about every half gallon or so, they just slip.

Either that or your 2 speeds shoes are slipping over the hump. I had that issue when I ran LST2 tires vs the revo rims/tires on mine. The extra strain combined with the LRP28 caused it to jump/cog when I got hard on the throttle. I put about 1 mm worth of something underneath the little "bearings" that are in the 2 speed shoes. Was a pain, but essentially made it less likely to hop the flat spots.

You kind kind of see it here:

The shiny ring all around that part of the shaft where the flat spots are shouldn't be shiny as nothing should be rolling over that area. Kind of a lame design...

You can see the little "bearings" (not sure what they are called) in the shoes:

Can't recall if that was a "before" or "after" when I put a little shimming material under the bearing to push it out further. As the two speed shoes wear, it allows the bearings to jump the flat spots since the shoes swing out further to engage.

It is a poor design, but does work well when it's tweaked properly. You can also lightly hit the shaft with 600-1000 grit sandapaper where the owb goes.
