I got around to mount the LST shocks. I used the mounts made by kudos to help with the installation. I could have took some better pics but i just got in from work and I'm rather sleepy. As u can see...its lowered about an 1" or so. The arms are parallel to the floor here. These shocks are huge!!! The LST's wont give ur ride a lower ride height....its just the way i have them mounted that makes it look so low. The springs are rather weak..that will be my next upgrade...maybe 6 or 8 pound springs...not sure yet. When i get up later today...I'm gonna go try and break something!!!!

They do have some slant..not all that vertical.

The turnbuckles were flipped to the other side and attached to a brace made by kudos.

In this pic..the shocks really stand out. Again for those who havent seen these things yet they are massive. They make the stock shocks look like tooth pics.

Pretty nice set up. No other mods other than what you installed?

Looks like maybe a new pipe, throttle linkage and a new state of the art invisible fuel tank!

Those shocks are sweet looking!
I need to get me one of those so I can prevent my tank from cracking and no more air leaks!

Ass...

lol

Thanks guys...!! Well..i took her out and gave it a spin. It performed really well. I will need the upgraded springs to get a better feel..but with the stockers it wasn't that bad.

Yeah so far i have a RB86..throttle mod...spider mod..LST's (of course),,,5,000k oil in front and rear...and one or 2 more than i can t think of.

Next will be the ..the springs and some extended TVP's

olds..gotta love that fuel tank mod eh??? lol

most def wanna grab better springs, and perhaps better shafts, and maybe the threaded bodies. i broke two of the shocks myself.

Hey Olds what tank are you using again? I know its an 1/8th scale one. How did you manage to get it on? Nice rig though...

Is that a better tank? I heard the savage tank leans out too much. I just got a Primer less tank new so I am hoping not to have that big of a prob. Nice mounts man!

The Ofna Tank on my truck does not lean at all.

Other good tanks to use would be the new 1/7 scale xtm tank.
The MGT tanks.

And a better pic of my mount.

I had an MGT tank but I would need some special mounts. I thought they would somehow fit right in with some generic mounts from the LHS. Do you have anymore mounts that you would like to part with?

 what can i say ?

you could also get a new era or similar tank guard , drill some nice holes in it and zip-tie a tank on.
