I have a lst and when i first fire it up i can take off then it stops going forward and the engine revs up and then I stop let the engine go back to idle and then i can take off again. It does this until the engine is up to operating temp or about 3-5 minutes. I see the spur gear spinning and when it stops spinning then i am able to go again. Any suggestions would helpful. You would guys recommend aluminum a-arms because I keep breaking mine, But I am worried that if i put aluminum on it will start breaking other things or would you recommend the RPM a-arms?

Not real sure what your forward issue is... almost sounds like your two speed is jacked up. As soon as the 2nd speed clutch engages, you lose power to your drive train. Then once the parts slow down and the clutch disengages, it goes back into first gear. If it was the OWB in the two speed (on first gear), it wouldn't move forward at all. When this does happen, do you notice the shaft the spur riding on and if it's spinning with the gears? Or does it stop when the truck stops moving?

As for the arm issue, I'd steer clear of aluminum. Aluminum has a tendency to break whatever the next weakest part is. Run RPM arms with upper lunsford titanium turnbuckles. The turnbuckles for the upper part of the arms that RPM includes is really soft and breaks easily. Then your stuck trying to dremel a slot in the leftover stump in your arms and screwing it out.

I run the RPM arms with the turnbuckles I linked you to. I also have lunsford for my steering/rear turnbuckles. Haven't had an issue with either in many gallons of hard bashing.

The truck can stop and the spur gears will still be spinning. I don't know about the shaft. Both gears are spinning and it happens when I am turning. Then it goes back to normal after 3-5 minuetes some times longer. I did notice when the truck started to shift the problem started to go away. The owb is brand new.

I have also heard about the flextec or something like that but they are suppose to be good. I will probably go with the rpm.

I just broke the trans output shaft on it yesterday so I think that might have been the problem. but I am not exactly sure but I think I did notice that when I am having the problem the spur gears spin but the clutch does not. I tightened the slipper down then I broke the output shaft, please respond with any help.
