Ok, you can put down your crack pipe now. I'd type more but can't through all the laughter at how big of an idiot you are. Oh did I say that out loud.

Vince, too funny.

Jet, the 2.5R is a great motor but I am surprised you have not upgraded your motor yet. Whatever you do, if you plan to keep racing your Revo, don't do like I did and get too big of a motor. My RB 323 is just too much sometimes.

Hey RR, I have a new TM sitting in the box, just haven't had the opportunity to break it in and get it ready. I've been on the road 16 of the 22 days this month only being home on weekends which happens to be race time and squeeze in family time. Maybe this week since I'm home and all the birdies are out. The .18 puts out plenty of power I have just been running so good though with the 2.5r that I haven't had reason to be in a rush to change it either.

Hey NitroFreak, if you came on to this forum to learn about rc's you should keep out of the this is better than that debates. By your statement you obviously don't have the experience to make a wise call either way. I'm all about having fun and helping people, check the previous posts I have made on this site, I have not flamed anyone, well maybe one other deserving soul. And FYI, I'm not an ass I'm an butthead and I pride myself on it, you know why, cause I don't mind telling someone when they're f'ed up. :hammer: Problem with forums is what can start as a rib on someone oftens turns to be taken a different way cause there's no tone, no expression, so you can't always see the little smirk after someone posts something. So initially I think you took my comments off base but your comments about it being slow, difficult to tune, etc just showed your inexperience and lack of knowledge about the product and needed correction.

I'll step off my soapbox now, and let someone else up. Perhaps if your in the midwest and wanna run your cinder block on the track for pinks I'd be glad to take it from ya, I could probably get a couple bucks for it on eBay.

i am lacking knowledge LMAO .... i have been in the hobby for well over 6 years... i know how to tune and i know a poopy motor when i run it. the 2.5r BLOWS..... it is slow.... and there is no prob raceing ya for slips... id be happy to give the wife the revo....

You must have had a horrible experience with a Revo my friend. My Revo is just flat out fast and durable. It does run hot, but it runs smooth, so I leave it alone. My father's Revo is even faster than mine. From what I've gathered so far, it's a good truck. My opinions on the LST are only from what I have SEEN, and I've seen them sitting in the hobby shop waiting for new trans. gears. Either that or A-arms. Since I have never drove one I cannot comment on it's drivability. Have you even driven a Revo?

Freak you are about to open a can of worms you can't reseal....some of these guys just itch for a new comer to start something....that being said I have seen too many of those 4WD brick LSTs try to come on the track and they get pounded...by what? you ask....A REVO.....when it comes to racing MTs the REVO is the king of the hill.....and I agree the 2.5 is a crap engine, I do have to say that if you get it to hold a tune they can put out some good power but it won't last long.....and to those who say a T-maxx is crap...I got one I'll race you for slips w/.......

get a magic wheel and put a .30 on it.. lol soopa fast!! :)

(that was a joke guys.. just trying to lighten the thread up.. to many people getting worked up over nothing.. i think vince summed it up nicely)

It's funny. Some people hate the 2.5R and some have no problems with it. I for one had no break in problems, no tuning issues and mine runs 270 or less with good power. I rarely have to change the tune. I even put a new Powertune head on my wife's T-Maxx before I even broke it in and it is the same; runs great and holds a steady tune.

u guys are morons... good luck with ur revo's

Another non-intelligent response from a non-Revo owner. Geeez...

Jet, pass the Grey Revo, please.
