Went to the LHS today and the owner said that he tried to order another LST2 but Losi said they were no longer available and that all he could get is the XXL which makes sense but interesting info none the less. I assume that they won't officially discontinue them until all the stock out there is depleted.

yeah rumor is that they heard that I have two of them so they decided it was time to stop making them:D

interesting. It is the best MT they have. Different variations have come off of it but it is thus far the best MT Losi has released.

Isn't it really the only MT they have released? At least, the platform, starting with the LST1?

Sad to think that my favorite truck out of many over the past 8 years is coming to an end... Makes you wonder what they are going to make instead.

How long was the LST* around?

At least they still have the XL to sit on for a couple years... means the majority of the LST2 parts will still be made. Better stock up on chassis rails and diff gears... since that's about all thats different.

I asked somebody today at my LHS about this and he said that he had not heard that. What he was aware of was that Losi was discontuing the monster beetle bodies due to trademark issues with VW.
