LST Braking Noise

My Lst makes a weird clicking noise when I apply the brakes. can't figure out what this is thnks

Take the diff apart and rebuild it. It's about to strip out. Do it now, and a few parts will still be good.

Just for all that want are having this problem, I recommend and Losi Tech Support concurs that replacing the front diff cases to aluminum will clear this problem up. I am going to do this to my lst.

My buddy has a savage No wait he has 6 of them just in case 2 or 3 of them break, in the same day !!!!

The aluminum Difs for the LST are only $10 bucks Well worth the coast. Also the break noise won't go away with this modification. Upgrade to fiberglass breakpads will eliminate the noise and make breaking less agressive smoother stoping.

that is so true about the savage my one is allways breaking that is why i am going to get an lst2

FYI, even when upgrading to the aluminunm diffs don't forget to shim the diffs and maybe the pinion. You do not want any slop as it can lead to a stripped gears.

I had the same problem with my LST.I installed the aluminum gearboxes front and rear and the problem was solved..
