its weird? when i roll the truck to see if the brakes are not dragging it rolls and then it kinda locks then i push it a lil harder and keeps rolling? i havent tooken it apart because i dont have the right size tools only the ones that came with other rc's. i'm thinking it might be the two disk brakes or maybe inside the tranny? anyone had this happen?

Using the single 3mm thick CF disk works great with the steel brake pads on the aftershock. I've also learned that the Losi 8eight brake disk fits and works well... but a friend of mine has tried it with the stock throttle servo and his doesn't stop very well at all.

It took a little stronger servo and a tank or two of running up to speed, then pulling full brake for the CF to wear in, but it grabs really well now. Also, it's much less of an on/off switch which should prove to be easier on the diffs. The steel to steel brakes on the aftershock worked well when you wanted them to, but they grabbed hard and there wasn't much variation between go and stop.
