I have a lrp Z21R motor in my kyosho inferno75. the problem I now have is
1 I have to turn the idle screw right in and increase on the trim to get it to idle
2. I have to turn the lsn right out so that it is not too lean (book says 1.5 turns I have it at 3 turns out)
must say it goes like crazy with plenty of smoke any ideas??

As long as your temps are good and your power is good then having to adjust the idle and lsn is pretty normal. I wonder if the .21 is as hot blooded as the .28s....I have two and they kick some butt for sure.

The books aren't always as accurate on the stock settings as you would think. I broke in an RB engine this summer and couldn't get it to idle at the LSN settings the book stated. I had to make a significant adjustment to the LSN to get it to run. Bottom line, as long as she's running well all around don't worry too much about what the book says.
