LRP spec 3 No Pull start

I bought the spec 3 with no pull start and am starting to think I am going to have to return it. I can't figure out how to install my stock spin start on the new Mill the stock 427 has a notch on the piston to bite on but the new mill doesn't it is smooth, any ideas?

The LST is not starterbox able. And to convert it is not worth the money. Return it.

Man I was all excited to start break in, returning it will probably be two weeks b4 the new one gets here.

Went ahead and ordered the correct one should be here tomorrow....

The LRP28 is a good engine for the LST. You might as well go ahead and order the 19/26 losi bell along with the lost HT pipe. Great combo for the stock sized tires/wheels.

I run +3 pinions on mine with normal sized MT tires... well, I will when they send me the right pinion for second gear.

you are talking about the same HT pipe that came stock with the LST2 aren't you cause thats what I have.....

Yep. Mine runs really well with it. I started with an aftershock, so I had to buy the pipe later.

yeah I basically haven't done anything to the drivetrain except new slipper pads and RPM 2 speed bell to keep out the dirt and a new clutch and flywheel. Hopefully won't have to change pinions for awhile.

got it today installed and 2 tanks into break in already love the mill, it hasn't even came to life yet still pig rich. all I can say is WoW...

Mine didn't show much power until I hit about tank 7. Then it's brute force started showing... tuning didn't become stable/consistent until I got about 3/4 gallon through it. Been a great engine ever since. I hope yours holds up and performs as good as mine.
