I just got a brand new lrp30 pullstart for my XL and a 5.9 brand new so the roto starter does fit the lrp 30 from the 5.9 can put roto starter on the lrp 30?
 
the hpi roto start back plate will not fit on the lrp.30. i had the lrp too and just keep using the pull start
 
drill or cut the corners of hpi roto-backplate and use thread-lock, longer screws and washers to keep it in place... glued the whole roto-unit onto the plate with thread-lock, ...works for me, for tens of starts this far
