I noticed two days ago that my savage 25 wouldnt hit second gear anymore, so I did as the manual says and adjusted it to change earlier but this didnt help.
The temperatures have been very cold the two days this has happened, could the cold be the reason it wont shift?
I will adjust it to change even earlier just to test it tomorrow, but have a feeling that this is not the way to solve it as the gears changed perfectly for a month before and I havent changed anything since then.
The acceleration and pulling power seems to be the same so I think I am getting close to normal running temperature - just wont shift.
And a side note, I want to get some oil for the gearbox, what kind should I use in there on a stock savage 25?
Thanks.
