There should be 2 grub screws in the drive cup, if they are loose or missing the cup will just spin on the shaft.

Like the 2 screws in the pick below.

Yup either get a new grub screw or a new cup set RedCat PN #02016 for the diff side/ PN #02034 for the center diff side.

You should be able to get just the grub screw, either from your LHS or a local Hardware store.

is that what they are actually called... "grub Screw" will worker at hard ware store know what I'm talking about

Either grub screw or set screw, just depends on where in the country/world you are.

You are going to need to either take the Dr cup or the other set/grub screw with you to match up a new one.

You could also look in the exploded views of your manual and find the grub screw. Typically exploded views will either tell you the size of the grub screw or it will give you a part number which you can either look up in the manual or online and generally find the size there and then you can either go down to the hardware store and try to find one there or you can order a little bag of them from http://www.microfasteners.com .

You can find Standard sizes HERE

And Metric sizes HERE

and yes the guy at the hardware store should know what it is regardless of whether you call it a grub screw or a set screw. SSDD.

All nitro rigs have a slipper of some kind or the engine would be due to driveline shock.

No thats what the clutch on the engine is for. There are many nitro rigs that run a center diff or have the slipper locked. I have the slipper locked on my savage XL with no problems at all.

No not all nitro have them and nit all electric have them either.
I have the same rig as he does and trust me it Does not have one.
they have a clutch but not a slipper.

A center diff will act the same as a slipper clutch. It will transfer power to either the front or rear diffs, depending on which one has the least resistance.

I bet that ur groove came loose from ur other groove, cuz that happened to my car, and thats what the problem was
