So I recently aquired an ofna buggy and figured out the engine has an air leak so I pulled it out took the carb off and took the back plate off as I inspected it I realised that I must have lost some sort of pin or something that allows the pull start to spin the crank/connecting rod so my question is what is this part and what does it look like,or maybe my inner idiot has takin over my mind and not allowing my hands to properly assemble this backplate,it is a force3.5 engine.,any info would be greatly appreciated thanx.

What I'm looking for is inside the engine after the backplate is removed, there must be a pin that connects the connecting rod/crank to the shaft that the one way slips over, sorry you misunderstood me I should have been more clear.

There should be a tiny spring and and small pin that fits in the crank. Ofna part #52098
