lost money order :(

well i sent $115.00 off to san jose last wed. for a t maxx and the guy still has not got it i live in south carolina and i sent it in the reg. mail like a dummy what do you guys think is going on ????

You should have a receipt with the money order when you purchased it. It'll have the receipt number, and an 800 number you can call to find the status of whether it was cashed or not.

There is a good chance that the m/o just hasn't arrived yet. However there is also a good chance that the guy got it and is trying to rip you off. You can go to the place were you purchased the M/O and maybe they an help you out. They should have a record of the purchase if you can remeber the date and possibly the time. I had a guy loose a couple of M/O orders once and he didn't have the receipts either. We gave him the number to call and he got his money back after a few weeks.

pretty much all you can do it try to get a hold of this guy. If you don't have the receipt you can't prove you've paid anybody anything. I dunno buddy, you don't have much on your side right now. Hopefully this guy just hasn't got it yet. good luck.

If it was the receipt that was attached to the money order, call the 1-800 number on the receipt, follow the instructions on the phone. When you get to checking the status of the money order, you'll use the series of numbers that's in big print on the receipt. Enter it in and then it'll tell you the status.

If you just have the receipt from wherever you bought the money order from, then i'd recommend talking to the place to see if anything can be done.

If ya have the receipt now call the 800 number. if it was cashed then tell the dude you know he cashed it and youll take legal action if it isnt sent out or the money returned. if its hasnt been cashed yet, Id cancel it. Itll cost $15 bucks but better being out the whole total. Then re send it to him my registerd mail where hell have to sign for it. then if he tries to screw ya over, you got his ass in court..

i will love to know if the guy is a member to this board, while back i had a raw deal with a member from Texas and i posted his name and user name, then he came back with a diff user name, if the guy is a looser then the guy is a looser, POST HIS DAMN NAME, so everybody else is aware.

If you have the receipt then everything is okie. Wait for another week, see if that guy receive your money order.

I think there is a 30 days wait period before you can cancel the money order.

If u bought it from the Post Office, take the recript back and have it cancelled.
