Looking at wheels and tires for our upcoming XXX build. I really like the JConcepts Hazzard wheels, like these, but not these tires.

The truck will be driven in short grass/dirt and pavement. It will eventually see some track time I hope, but that won't be compatitive. Just run what you brung kinda fun racing.

Questions:
Will the 2wd Slash wheels fit on a 2wd Losi XXX-SCT? I have se stock XXX wheels I guess I could check the offset on to compare.

And what are some good SCT tires? I was considering the Pro-Line Hoosiers, which are more for dirt oval, but they look like they would do great on pavement too.

This is our first SCT, so what would you recommend?

Don't know about the wheel part. If it's similar to the newer 22sct then I would get de racing wheels. I like them.

Some tire options. Mainly for the grass or dirt. If your going to be mainly on pavement I'd just get a cheap set of slash pre mounted set off of Jenny's RC and just bash it on those.

Found a slew of DE Racing wheels for the XXX-SCT on fleabay. There were two fronts and one rear. One front set is black, and I found a white rear set to go with them. I'll likely dye them all black and that will give me 2 sets. There are also 4 sets of Losi fronts. Thanks for the help @DavidB1126

I found that hub kit mentioned, but can't find it for sale anywhere. I just grabbed actual XXX-SCT wheels, so I think I have this resolved. I really wanted to use the Hazzard wheels, but oh well.
I found a clone on Amazon but no axles just the hubs.

I posted it then deleted it as I saw it was just the knuckles.
I bet all the other hardware is just stock components. But those are like $27. I'll keep an eye on them. Thanks!

So what are we looking at?

I found this page talking about the XXX and Hazard wheels. It says I need the JConcepts #JCI2048 hex adapter kit if I grab that Pro-Line inboard hub kit. I found the Pro-Line kit on fleabay, but the guy wants $40 for it. No thanks. I will use the DE Racing wheels for now and see if I can figure out a hex adapter that will work on the front later on. I am sure I just need some hexes that have the right offset. Might be tough to locate.

Those are the factory wheels and tires from AE on their Trophy Rat

Oh. I have a bunch of the factory wheels and tires. I was just looking for something different. These are the wheels that come on it.

Those methods are kinda similar. But the XXX-SCT had a bearing in the front wheel, and it was a different size than other 2wd SCT front wheel bearings from what I read. Anyway, I think the DE Racing ones I ordered will look good on it. Thanks for pointing those out though. I'll look into them a bit more to see if they are an option 😉
