I think if you stick them all over it improves the holeshot!

Thanks man. I'm sure I'll screw up the paint though 😜
Its getting a bit warmer here now... soon it will be time!
I have a few to spray with cans and we'll see about an airbrush rig. Soon, I'll be screwing them up too!!! 😎🤣

How much faster will my car go if I install a whole set?
About 30 more horse powers and an additional 500 foot pounds of torque on the high end after boost is in affect. Scientifically proven by yours truly.
Do thry have to be mounted to the chassis or will they work if I stick them all over the body? 🤔
Chassis, body, your body, even your fridge or wall! 🫠😄😆🤣

I stuck one on my forehead. I did a burnout and crashed into my stove. 🤕🤷‍♀️
I'm not falling for that one again!!! 🙄

So I got the motor mounted. I was thinking if mounting the ESC on the left side of the vehicle, so I cut the original ESC bosses off.

But then I got to thinking- with the motor hanging out on the left side, it might help balance it out to move the ESC to the right, so I did all that for nothing 😆

What do you guys think? I really wish I had that SkyRC corner weight system.
Hey @WickedFog, I know I am late to the party, I am also new to the R/C terminology. Did you have any issues with installing the Hobby Wing motor? I am really interested in doing the same. Did you have to change the gear that attaches to the motor or change stuff to mount it properly? Also, would you recommend that kit? Thank you!

No. It bolted right in just fine.

Hey @WickedFog, sorry to bother again, what size pinion gear did you use for the new motor? Thank you!
No problemo. I think right now I have the 17t in there with an 88t spur. I haven't driven it for a bit, and I have had 3 differentl gear sets in it. With the torque of the 3660, you can step up a tad from stock, even though this is 400kv more than the stock 3300kv. She is a monster no matter what you throw at it 😁

This motor has a 5mm shaft. So you need a 5mm bore 48p pinion.
