losi mini lmt throttle reverse missing

just got the delivery of my losi mini lmt. the thing is i always change setting of forward to upward and reverse to backward using the sttings on all rc cars.

but lmt does not have any button change it. i tried to google it but didnt find it

can anyone shred some light. this way I'm unable to run the car as I'm not used to this settings

edit : one more problem. left side steering is very less compared to right side steering

That is showing your servo horn might be off one tooth, but there is also some play there because the wheels are not returning to center after turning left.

Adjust your steering trim knob to center. Have the transmitter and the truck turned on.

Remove the screw in the center of the servo horn and pull the horn off the servo.

Straighten your steering as best you can, and reinstall the horn trying to keep your wheels as atraight as you can. Note: the teeth inside the horn may cause your steering to be off a tad one way or the other. That is ok. Just get it as close as you can and reinstall the scree. Careful not to overtighten it.

After you get your horn centered drive your trick in a straight line. Do not touch your steering knob. Instead, adjust your steering trim until the truck drives straight.

Now you want to set your steering servo endpoints. I have no clue how to do it on the Mini LMT, but maybe @Hammer Down can correct me if I am wrong. Just guessing here.

But anyway...

Turn your steering all the way to the right and hold it there. While holding the steering knob full right, adjust your little SR knob there back to center, then slowly turn it right until you see your steering stops moving. Then back it off ever so slightly until you can see the steering loosen up. You should feel there is a little looseness in your steering. You don't want the servo forcing the steering to full lock, or it will eventually burn up your servo. You want to be just shy of full lock.

Repeat that process turning left.

If the transmitter doesn’t have that reverse feature maybe you can swap the motor wires? Is the motor brushed or brushless?

Well, you really don't want to do that. Your trigger may have more pull backwards than it does forwards. I have never heard of anyone driving a surface RC with the throttle trigger reversed.

Swapping the motor wires will have the ESC working backwards, where reverse typically only sends about 50% of the power to the motor. If you wired it all up and the motor worked in reverse, then yeah, swap the motor wires. But the OP is trying to reverse his transmitter trigger. The only way to do that correctly that I can see, since it doesn't have a reverse throttle switch, is to open the transmitter and swap the wires on the trigger, if that will even work.

If it were me, I'd swap all my other RC's back and learn to drive them the correct way.

Edit: I don't see anywhere in the manual where it shows how to get into the ESC settings. You could reverse the throttle there, and it should work as normal, with the trigger working backwards. But leave it to the morons at Horizon to put an ESC in a vehicle with zero settings you can change.

Yea you are right about that, it would be 50% forward if the motor was swapped.
I am struggling with the reasoning behind wanting to drive forward with the trigger forward, I would also just learn how to drive them correctly. This is how all transmitters are designed, pull the trigger and you go forward.

so i have to open transmitter and solder the wires the way i want? dam. even losi mini t 2.0 had the option but this one launched way in future but dont have the option.

my mind was easy understanding pulling forward means going forward and pulling back means reverse. this was way easier for me lol

I can't fly airplane games with the stick going forward making the plane go up. I have tried, and I could never convert to that. So I feel ya. But you really should try to get used to the trigger working the correct way.

I think you’re pretty limited as far as adjustments go.. the only ones I know of are the little pins you can swap around to change from Forward to instant Reverse or Forward/Brake/Reverse. And Nimh and lipo. As I’ve circled in the pic below.

ya i have already seen this on youtube video. i guess i'm being forced on how to run the rcs. i will have learn from stracth lol. been ruuning my rcs this way since 1 years.

Another option is to replace the 2 in 1 with a new esc and tx/rx. The simple fix here is to just drive it as it is
