wrapped up under my tree is my new micro dt ! I've had a quick go and instantly thought it could/should be better so,,, let the upgrading commence.
does anyone have advice/experience on where to start !!! its gonna stay indoors really so doesn't need to be too extreme, nice long runtimes and jump-able are main points, thanks

Upgrade all of the electronics. Brushless motor, ESC, Lipo battery, servo. Swap out the toe links for some homemade pieces... small zip ties.

my living room is currently an assault course using some christmas cardboard,,, gotta make me some more battery packs for this little thing

They are a lot of fun. I havnt had mine out in quite a while.

The only things I would recommend upgrading are the threaded front axle conversion and swapping the DC charger for an AC charger. LiPo works okay on the brushed setup for longer run times/more speed.

just got 300mah lipo and pinion gears now this thing flies !! with the 16t gear it is very fast !!

hey , now I'm impressed with this little dt its still stock everything apart from gears and lipo . all is good ,, getting very good at stripping it to remove fluff,,, i lost a clip for the wheel the other day and found it 2 hours later so i think threaded axles will be ordered soon!!. what temp should i be running this stock motor at max ??? messing about with gears and the slipper today it got to 145f is this gonna fry my little £6.50 motor..??
