Has anyone tried the LST truck, Tmaxx shock conversion. Abd do you know if you need certain A Arms to do this. Found a conversion online guy said you only need the FLM shock towers and shock Adapters?:hehe:

I have been looking into this my self, can't decide if I want to go with the lst or the UE shocks. What I have found up to now is that the lst shocks won't fit in the space on the regular a arms. I hope someone with more experience chimes in and clears this up . Thanks for post..

I talked to FLM they say If you run there Multi position shock towers with there LST shock conversion adapters nothing elese is needed. And I love the LST shocks. I have a set of UE shocks. I prefer my LST socks they handle massive air landings.

I guess it’s a matter of opinion. Having tried both the LST and UE super shocks (and every other shock on the planet), IMO there is no comparison. UE for me is the better setup for a TMaxx.

I personally wouldn’t trade a pair of super shocks for a dozen lst shocks.

UE def great shocks. But the LST shocks a little better price. I have landed 15 foot or better air time and never bent my LST shocks. There not stock Losi shocks but Bizzare hobbies piggy back shocks.

Not my pics but it shows how you have to cut the upper arm & move the lower mount much farther down the arm.

After seeing these pics I decided the LST shocks are more trouble the they are worth.

Hope this helps you.

It does look plausible if your running Aluminum A Arms but with plastic arms you may lose a lot of the strength even if they were RPMs. In this picture it also looks like you cannot lay the arms down for better handling and if you did you sacrifice suspension travel. I will stick with my setup which has worked well for the better part of 9 years on my 4910 Tmaxx.

I found a set of A arms that makes it alot easier to adjust the suspension and gives you plenty of room to run the LST shocks. Do not know the brand name when I can I will post some pics of the A ARMS.
