Got my CR10 printer running again. Yay! Final design of the ESC mount is printing, so I should be able to get back on this when it's done.

ESC plate done.

Test fit.

She is rock solid, and easily serviceable now 😁

And I realized I need to order more screws. I freakin hate stainless, but that was all I had in 30mm 😖

@Littlemotor said he would use 90° bullets on the ESC, so I need to order some. Just going to ziptie the wires down for now until we get some test runs in to check things out.

Back on the bench. Getting the shocks inserted in the arms was a bit of a pain, but I finally got it by prying the slot open a bit with my turnbuckle wrench.

New wheels/tires on. Lots of travel on this suspension.

Servo link was a bit short, so I adjusted it out a few turns to get the horn better in line with the bellcrank.

That's it for this bench session. I think we're ready to setup the ESC and servo endpoints/sub trim, then she's ready for some testing to check temps. But that will have to wait for the weather to warm up a bit and Breydon to be here. So in the meantime... project Losi XXX-SCT rebuild coming up... YAY! 😁

Lookin' good!

Can I have it? :hehe:
I have probably almost enough money in this I could have bought a new one. So no. No you can't have it 😉🤣

I'm gonna get Breydon out friday evening or saturday for some test passes to check temps (aiming for really low temps), then we'll get the cage on without the body panels so we can still temp the electronics, and give her another test. Then the panels go on, and I may stick some of the scale accessories back on it for looks, and she is done.

Looks like the same servo i run in my lmt and phoenix. So far so good!
I gotta source a new horn for it. The one on here is so sloppy I am scared to use it.

You know, most people wouldn't say this but... that thing makes your collection look phat!

🤪

Had to swap out the Rx for a Flysky. The Radiomaster one wasn't cooperating for some reason. But endpoints and everything are set.

The cage and rear sway bar took about an hour to put together. Mostly because I had to find all the right screws. But there are a lot of screws holding this on. OMG!

Next up is all the screws and washers holding the panels on 🤮

Breydon took it out for a rip. It is way, way faster than I thought it was going to be. I'm likely going to step down a couple teeth on the pinion. It doesn't like high traction surfaces. It likes loose gravel though. I need the gravel quarry to come back!
