I recently broke my last left front A arm and parts are getting hard to find. I read on Facebook someone did this mod so for $12 I gave it a shot. The arms appear to be very similar dimensions and geometry. Hinge pins in relation to shock locations are virtually identical! You will lose a shock hole adjustment and a VLA settings, are the only downsides.

Drilled out inner hinges with an 9/64 bit. Outer hinge with a 3.5mm. shims to space the shocks away from turn buckles. Suspension moves nice and free once adjusted. Will need to go over camber/toe, etc. Can't wait to throw it on the track soon

Finally got to race with this setup. I made zero changes to the car other than swapping the arms and it measured the same and drove great. I thought I had broken an arm on my first practice session but luckily it was just the pin falling out from forgetting to tighten one grub screw, WHEW!
