Don't know about the nitro, but the electrics are great. I know a few people who race them and they are solid trucks.

ran 4 tanks thru it today with street tires and it is sweet! the remote start has an issue, i have to tap the motor to get it to work,i will call horizon in the morning to see what to do about it. been using a bump box to get it going. motor runs great, and cool,no high temps.so far so good...:D

got the starter motor, installed it and have the same issue, called horizon back and they were perplexed, never heard of this issue so they are sending me a harness and r.o.s.s. control modual. if that doesn't work i will just use the bump box....i just feel for what this truck cost it should work....

Take it off and get a roto start. The ROSS system has been nothing but a problem since day one. Most of the Ten-T owners ditched it from the start.

i asked the guy from horizon if there were any options,he said they didn't have the parts for it in house, i have a bump box it is just the principle of it,the truck was 540 bucks plus tax so i think it should work, know what i mean....

it is a bit small but i used the bump box to break it in so the tight engine didn't overload the ross...ironic don't you think?....:hehe:

i got the control module from horizon this week, installed it and it is the same. i think the horizon guy is perplexed with this and throwing parts at it...at least he is trying. i am going to take the motor and run it some with a battery and see if it helps, maybe it just needs a break in....:\

was playing around with the battery box to see if any wires were loose and tried the ross thing and voila it is working....go figure...:)
