i jsut got my first rc. with the engine off and just working the servos everthing is great everything works. when the engine is running the throttle servo starts working on its own and i have no control of throttle.. i still have control of steering but throttle goes wide open.
brand new. new batterys

i think I've narrowed it down the the transmitter. as if i turn on the reciever and start the car its fine, then turn on the transmitter and its starts going goofy. I've takin it to a different location thinking intereference but no different

anyone have ideas?

If you know that all the batteries are full strength, check ALL the connections...ALL the connections. Also make sure the crystal is in snug.
