I typically only get to go to the movies when my youngest daughter has something that she wants to see. I had to put in a home theater to be able to get the full effects a decent show. A great trilogy, read the books about 30 years ago. I own the first two movies and will be purchasing this one when it comes out. My understanding is that this one's about 3+ hours long. Did you read or see the bio on Professor J.R.R. Tolkien? You'll quickly understand his reasoning for writing this type of material.
