Looking for Speed

Hving run a xxx-nt ( and loving it) I have just bought a Losi xxx-s. It runs great but I have this need for more speed, any suggestions for hop ups...ie Motor, Grearing whatever Help:devious:

The right brushless system will be faster than most nitro powered rc's.

If you have money, wait for Castle Creations 1/10 mamba system. It is brushless and will be very fast. Other than that, get some high amount of cells in a pack, and you should be good. My rc18mt has a brushless in it and goes about as fast as my Savage.

Just a look at world records,electrics best nitro.In boats electrics have bested 120MPH! Electric motors from Lehner can give more horsepower than any nitro "BIG BLOCK" for RC use.

Castle Creations is about to realease brushless systems for 1/10th scale RC.If I am not mistaken.

Also Novak has multiple brushless systems.

Castle Creations 1/10th Scale Setup is the only way to go. Its way fast. Brushless Electric will smoke nitro. I'm a nitro guy through and through but electric is hands down faster, it just lacks the same fun thats all.

How much do you plan to spend?

A Novak Rooster and a Trinity Diamond 13 turn motor will get that thing moving pretty quick. That's about as cost effective as I can think of without going the brushless way.

If you're not worried about the funds, I'd go brushless. It's less maintenance and you'll get alot more speed from it.

Must be on target,I said an electric boat did 120Mph...well closer to 125Mph where a nitro boat has yet to this match.

And 111Mph in a car is not to bad.
