I just bought a Team Losi AD XXX NT and I want to race on road with it sometimes. I am wondering what tires will grip on a tarred surface? I am checking out some proline hawgs and some jaco foams. Here are the Jaco's:

I know they run indoors with the Jacos' but I'm wondering if they would hook up on asphalt.

Thanks.

Scott

I had the hawgs on my rustler and I liked them alot they where really responsive, I'm not sure what foams they had though I bought them used.

I have a set of road rages on losi wheels that I would let go for a reasonable price. if you decide to go the rubber route.

Yeah, the foams hook up nicely on asphalt, but they get chewed up if there are rocks on the track... They do wear down pretty fast as well. I havent had any luck with them... i think it was because of the HP of my .21... i use dirt hawgs on the road, and off the road... they seem to work for me.

They where the road hawgs lol guess that would have been usefull info

Problem with foams, they wear down extremely fast. As the laps go down, you can literally watch the foams shrink.
