I'm looking for a real matalicor pearl paint. any recomendations. I was goona mix createx orange ang pearl white but it becomes to peachy. Can i mix it with a peal gold or spay a light coat and bac with a pactra indy silver?

I haven't seen a metallic orange yet. You can check out
Spaz Stix

They have a color called Fireball orange that you may be able to back with silver...

using createx pearl silver and createx orange gently add a few drops at a time silver to the orange it should bring it up or you can use createx's pearl red with the silver because as you add the silver the color lightens

I am trying to come up with a Pearl Orange myself. Red & Yellow make Orange. I have thought about mixing those together to see what I get. The Pearl Gold & Orange might work. You just have to go slow when mixing in the Gold. Try a ratio of 70/30 or 80/20 to see how the color looks. I will keep you posted if I come up with any success. I am trimming several bodies right now, & will be messing with colors around the end of next week.

Are you using the regular Createx or their Auto Air Colors?

Yeah I was asking Fridge or any one else who uses Createx. I have always sprayed the Auto Air Series, & am getting ready to try some of the regular. I was wondering if anyone has ever mixed the Auto Air colors with the regular Createx colors?

digital liquid
i havent tried mixing the 2 but it shouldn't be a problem because of the fact that htye are both water based would you like me to try it out for you?. please make sure that you add bond all to the regular createx as people constantly give the regular createx a bad name and its simply for the fact that they dont use any bond all.

Fridge, I will try mixing the two later this week. I have a couple of bodies I'm getting ready to spray and am deciding on some color schemes right now.

I did go pick up some bond all for the regular. The bottle also said that it needs some catalyst, so I picked up a bottle of that also. Do you use catalyst w/ the bond all?

the catalyst is an additive that will work if you dont heat set it with about 300 degrees but the createx will be sure to dry with any blow dryer without catalyst you should take it back in my opinion

You can mix the Createx regular with the Auto Air series. I didn't have any problems. The only thing to watch for is that the regular is alot thicker than the auto air paints. So in order to get same same viscosity for both paints I simply added a few drops of their Reducer. Worked like a champ.

I also did come up w/ a pearl orange. I used the transparent orange mixed with pearl white. It turned out pretty nice. You just have to make sure you don't put too much white.

have you tried mixing candy orange with a coarse aluminum, the transparency of the candy allows the metallic to show thru without changing its color to much. if it gets to light add some more candy and it will bring back to a more orange color and still be metallic
