Ok everybody, I'm in the market for a clutch bell for my funny car project. I'm using an Orion VR6 clutch. The clutch instructions make it extremely clear that when changing from any other type of clutch to a VR6 you MUST use a new CB. The tolerances are pretty tight with this clutch and Orion specifies that a CB with an ID (inner diameter) of 26-26.5 mm is required. I generally take MFR recommendations with a grain of salt but due to the nature of this clutch I don't want to stray from the span they suggest. I'm having a hard time finding ID specs on CB's so... what do you got? Who makes it?

1: 26-26.5mm ID

2: Hardened would be better although I'm sure I could find somebody to put a non hardened piece through the process.

Lessen any 1/8th scale buggy or truggy bell will work just fine. It's a great clutch once you get it dialed. I have mine at 1.5 turns in from flush, and that works great in my 8-T.

May want to look into a sleeved CB if the tolerances are tight. Just a suggestion.

It worked both with my 8ight bell and a sportwerks bell.

The 8ight bells are 26.5mm ID.
