Hey guys I am looking for a new ride , I have always ran MT and I really enjoy the Revo but it is time for a change :). I am not sure what I really want I have been eye balling the hellfire and the Jato's .

I am looking at getting into racing a little bit , and I know the jato doesn't really have a class ....So the hellfire is more appealing to me but I know there are better vehicles out there .

I dont bash , I have a oval track I run on and I am going to start running on a regular off road track in the next few weeks

I know some will say the revo can be a good MT racer but like I say I am looking for something different ........I would like to get a decent RC in the 550 -600 range ......

Help please LOL .....send me some links to some truggies in my price range

Check into the Rc10gt's as well. (Theres a newer version out as well) There really fun to race, pretty inexpensive and fun little trucks to rip around the track with.

Edit: Just saw ya were looking for a truggie. My bad. The Rc10gt is a 2wd stadium truck.. Like the jato.

Well actually I am still pretty open to everything .....
Is this the truck your talking about?

Does it compare with the jato?

Jato has a 2 speed tranny, and bigger wheels/tire package. Thus, almost putting itself in a different class of its own. It isn't legal to race, but it can be converted to be legal... problem with that is, its going to cost a few pennies to do so. The track in your area MAY allow the stock jato to race with the rest of the ST class.

The RC10GT on the other hand, is legal to race.

as far as truggy/arena truck goes, the hellfire is a solid choice. If your LHS readily carries parts for it, so much the better! No sense in running a vehicle if your LHS does not readily carry parts for it, unless they are quick with getting parts for you. But, keep in mind, there is always a better selection than a hellfire, and there is always a worse selection. But like the rest of the truggies, they can be great on the track AND off the track for bashing.

Keep your options open and do some research to decide which best suits you.

Ok, here's my suggestions. I have run the LSP-R, a Mugen MSR conversion, and now the Jammin CRT Pro. One of the guys I run with has a Hellfire. I also run a Revo (well, I just retired it). I would suggest the Jammin CRT Pro if you want a kit. The RTR CRT is good if your budget is inlcuding the mill and electronics. The hellfire's I have seen break, always/alot. The new kits may be better but everywhere I've ever run and have seen a hellfire, they just aren't very competitive and you don't see the fast guys running them. The LSP in RTR form may fit in you budget as a decent little ride though many are saying it's outdated. Mugen has the new MBX5T out and while it's out of you budget you listed, you can find MSR conversions pretty reasonable right now, like mine? :)

You retired the Revo? Just going buggy/truggy now?
Yeah, I made the decision this weekend that it was going to be it's last run. Long story but yes, buggy and truggy for me.
