Hi, my Dad wants to get into the hobby after seeing my new R/C...but he really wants to get a GTO body to match his 1:1 car.

Anyone know of any??? His is a '69 GTO, and that is what we would REALLY like, but if anyone knows of ANY GTO bodies, even other years, please let me know. Thanks

Chad

I've been searching for the same thing.

I have a '67, and would also like a replica lid for my little cars.

Your best bet is to get one of those 'toys' off of ebay, and convert the body over.

I've been breathing down pro-line, parma, and everyone's neck to manufacture such a beast, but all I get is :nope:

I have heard of a company out in Austrialia who makes a Holden body, but we all know, they aren't even close.

The only lexan goat I have seen was an old, abused, '67 GTO or Tempest body in a parts lot.
I bugged the hell out of the seller to part with it, but by the time he had gotten back to me, he sold it all, and wouldnt let me know to whom.

Maybe if we get enough guys around with the same goal, -and flood pro-line, parma, etc,- with e-mails requesting such a body, we just might get an answer.

There is a company taking a step into the right direction though.
Its a '66 Chevy Nova.

By the way, do you have any pics of your Dads Judge?

i must agree....it would look dumb on my savage...but that would be awesome...I've always been a fan of the gto...especially the 69. If your dad wants to sell it tell me:whhooo:

Definately don't think he'll want to sell it to you, he loves that car, and I do to. Nice to have a car like that around to borrow any time I want. :) Here's some pics for ya to check out. The red one is mine, his GTO is definately cool, but mine is still faster! :boxing:

Well...we haven't taken it to the drags YET...but it is "slightly" built. ;) We DEFINATELY drive it like it was meant to be, if you don't get rubber in all 4 gears, your not driving it right! :D
