  1. Bashing
Well I'm redoing the look of my basher, making it all black and orange. I'm going to strip the chassie, and stuff like that, but I'm throwing around the idea of geting another pipe. I have a resignator on my racer revo, and am happy with it, its pretty much a stock pipe. The pipe I'm running now is a stocker, that I polished, and drilled the stinger, which is just as good as the resignator lol. But anyway. I really want a Fantom but there hard to find now a days. So I started looking around and ran across this, http://www.impaktrc.com/product_info.php?cPath=151_39_65&products_id=512. I like the finish on it, not to flashy. Anyone tried one of these on their revos before. Or maby some one has a Fantom they want to get rid of for cheap? lol. I have a trinity laying around, but I swear that pipe is a motor killer, pluse its hard on the ears. Thanks for lookin.

The THS146H Hard Coated Exhaust Set you have in your post is one the mot popular pipes for the Revo. It makes really good power and sounds good. I have the chrome version of the pipe.

I have read on other forums that the THS pipe is suppose to be really good on the revo. I recently picked up a polished version of that pipe on ebay for about half price. I can't give any input on how it preforms seeing as how I have had my revo for almost 3 months and have not fired it up once.(still customizing)=lazy

Good to hear, well its on my next order then. Along with a CRT .5 header to side pipe lol. I can't wait.

Do you think that it would be a noticeable difference between the THS and the Resonator? I still have the factory pipe and when my new 3.3 gets here, I'm putting it on the pipe

I think so. In my oppion, the resignator is a over glorified chromed stock pipe. Thats what lead me to belive the ths would be better. If your looking for killer power run the trinity, but dont count of having a good tune threw a tank, you have keep adjusting the needles to keep it in the right temp range. Thats just what I have found.

Thanks for the info. I am knowledgeable, but this is my first nitro, so I do still have questions. Thanks again

My opinion the THS is better than the Resonator mainly due to each uses springs the attach the pipe to the header and the header to the engine. It also makes good power.

My one concern is header gaskets. When I used my trinity, I burned threw those things almost once a tank. There is no releif in the 3.3 for the gasket seal so that makes a pressure point which causes them to fail. Maby its just my luck but that concerns me.

The THS holds up very well. The gasket it uses is different than the Trinity.

What pipe would be best for good low end torque? If I get a good low end punch, I will not have to get it by gearing.

OK, Thanks... One more question, I have seen people drilling out the stinger on the factory pipe, could/should I do that to the THS pipe, or does it not need it?

Dosent need it, you could, but why? If your spending money on a pipe, I'm shure they designed it well enogh.
