I am nooooooooo crawler expert by any means but it looks custom to me?

that's what we were thinking, but then after all his excitement wore off........ he had the thought of what do we do for parts...... LOL its our first crawler..... so I'm sure I will have lots and lots of questions!

I've seen many crawlers, and i have NO idea what that thing is. looks fun, but not very capable.

x2 on this. No sure at all what it is or was to begin with. No offense but I really hope he didnt pay much for that rig.

no he only paid like 100 for it... but its kept him busy for the last 3 hours tinkering.... so its worth it :D:D

id try and sell it back to wherever ya got it, and get an axial scorpion kit. cheap, capable, fun, easy to get parts and support for. things i doubt that would be.

He might beable to sell it on the bay for more than he paid too. Then like Alpine said, he could get something with after market support.

damn so who wants to call and give him the bad news???

i'll let him tinker...... hmm he got it from some kid that he sold his lightening to a while back.

but on the axial kit, if he keeps interest in this then i know what to get him for our anniversary :D

thanks for the help guys

You might get some more pics of the axles/trans to help us maybe identify them as the base of the rig though.

yeah i will do that in a bit got to get kids in bed...............

Hell yeah I have bought worse things for $100, that thing is huge I was thinking slap an 1/8 scale Blazer body on that thing and have fun. Think Traxxas Summit only cooler and custom. You would just have to know going in that every thing you do on it will be a custom part from something else.

Bunch newbies, that would be TXT axles with Maxximzer beadlocks truck was top of line 6 years ago.

The trans is TXT as well. The axles and trans are a good base for a shafty super or a monster truck basher.

No one get butt hurt about the newbie comment, I am only joking.
