Long Island, NY People Come out to SSH

Nope, sorry, SSH is no longer in buisness. From what I have been told the store and track was siezed for taxes, and now sits there empty. I am just glad I had not yet purchased the electric tc I was planning on getting to race there. They had a real sweet indoor carpet track, and I was looking forward to doing a little racing there this winter. I really wish we had someplace to run out here on the Island. My buggy has not even been started in over a year, it's killing me to see it just sitting there.

well that sucks but i will not let it end their, i will find a good spot even if it kills me. I know a great spot in port jeff called the fish bowl i used to go their with my quad. Although its way to cold to actually use it lol. wish there was an indoor nitro and race track.

Now if we could just get a dirt track someplace out on the island that would be awesome! can't run my nitros indoors.

Where? Southshore is gone, as far as I know it was siezed for taxes.

Yeah it sure does, now there is absolutely no place to run nitro off road on the island now. If you want to run on road the guys will probably be running again soon at the Ronkonkoma train station on sundays.

and I'm a 100% with u on that there is no where u can race. there is a place in farmingdale that u can race ur trucks its indoor but only in the summer 4 nitro

they run all year long carpet during the winter asphalt during the summer.
1/10 TC - 1/12 and mini-t with jumps

sorry can't help you there the only off-road track in the area (and that's a stretch) is Barnstormers up near chester NY about an hour to an hour and a half north.

there is a nitro On-Road track in brooklyn but sadly no place for off-road.

Yeah, I know that feeling all too well! My Savage, PCR Pro, Maxx, and a few others are sitting on the shelf in my hobby room, looking all neglected.
