Hey I'm on long island and was wondering if anyone knows a good place to bash/race my savage and race my 1/10 car?

Where on Long Island are you?

Is your 1/10 car nitro or electric?

BTW we are having a big RCNT race at Trax70 in Jersey at the end of September if you are interested in coming out.

Ah, ok, I just recently moved to Suffolk county, Rocky Point. South Shore Hobbies has a sweet indoor carpet track, but it is only for electric. There dirt track is hurting to put it mildly, guess they never heard of roundup  I am not too familiar with the area yet, but I believe there is a parking lot near me that guys run nitro tcs on the weekends. I'm sure ImBroken can chime in and give us that info.

alright thanks man.. ill probally take the ride down to nj that weekend

ya i was talking about the rcnt down in new jersey in september

you shouldnt say that there track is hurting.you should find out why the track is in bad shape frist.its not hurting ruff shape yeah you should know it takes voulonteers to help run a track, they just dont have enough of a turn out or help to get it to par(I do have to say atleast they dont have grass on the straight aways like someplaces i have seen and been to)I have been racing at southsore for a number of years and became freinds with alot of the other racers at southshore.they do not have much of a turn out or intreast in the dirt.they are mainly an electric indoor crowd.
this what they run
1/12 scale stock and mod
1/10 scale stock,mod and 19 turn.
and some micros
if you wanna learn how to race or sharppen your skills you get a 1/12 scale car.

Maybe if the owner wasn't such a cold, pompous, know-it-all jackass, people wouldn't mind volunteering to help him out... He'll still charge ya $10hr to run on that POS... Sorry, just venting...

I dont know he does get alot of volunteers when it comes to the indoor track.I do have to agree that the owner is a little bit of a know it all.But he does run a good winter indoor program.

Buddah, there IS grass on the straight away........and on the corners.......and in the jumps........well just about everywhere. With the prices he charges to run, no wonder no one volunteers. If I go out and want to practice a few hours I am looking at $30 give or take, now you want me to fix his track for him for free? That would work great for him, but............:ponder2: nope, aint working for me. His indoor track is sweet, but still imo his prices are way out of line to run practice.

So as I said in my earlier post, his track is hurtin!

i have not been there in about a year and a half since i started running nitro.havent seen the track since.when they frist did the track about 3 years ago it was nice and clean.its just that when you go to other traxs and see that they have people who help them and to see what they have to run on (dont wanna mention them).....you see what iam trying to say, just dont wanna see anybody bad mouth other tracks.
did not know he charged that much too practice on.I was never charged for when i went up to practice indoor.I know his race fees are resonable on the avarge of other places
