Pretty sure I fried 1st gear. After getting tuned, I was making a few speed runs up and down the street. Now it won't move. When I roll the spur gear, I can feel clicking, when I turn the tires, they don't seem to engage like they should. Not sure what's wrong yet, but I'll have to tear into it at a later point in time to fix it.

If I run it in the air, about 1/4 throttle the wheels will spin, but not until then. When I set it down, it won't move. I popped the plug out the check the shift adjustment screw, and it still feels snug.

i would check the driveline first. if you have a center diff, all it takes is one missing drive cup pin to kill everything.

Losi is infamous for grub screws falling out of the outdrives as well. Loose a grub and the pin falls out. Loose the pin and you are going nowhere. Also, check that you didn't loose one or more pins in the wheel hexes. I lost a front wheel pin and a rear grub on my LST and thought for sure my tranny was shot. Start at the wheels and work your way inward, eliminating the easiest and cheapest culprits first...

on my tmaxx the set screw/pins that hook up my universal joints to my diffs and trans, they fell out letting just the plastic barley grab the differential the wheels would spin but they had little power

Really starting to regret buying a Losi.

Should there be play between the outdrives coming out of the diff?

Dont regret losi. Their MT stuff is top notch. EVERY rig you get will have problems. Its just part of the hobby.
